A handcrafted leather rebinding of a genuine published copy of William Goldman’s The Princess Bride.
The original book is carefully transformed with a newly crafted genuine leather binding, deeply embossed artwork, raised sculptural textures, and a hand-finished antiqued surface.
The design draws from broad themes of adventure, romance, swordplay, castles, old-world heraldry, fairy-tale landscapes, and classic storybook ornament. The artwork is independently created for this binding and is not reproduced from official film artwork, publisher cover designs, licensed merchandise, or other official imagery.
The front cover, spine, and rear cover feature deeply embossed leather artwork with substantial raised relief and hand-finished detailing. Each volume is individually antiqued to create the appearance of an aged storybook or treasured volume from a private library.
Because genuine leather and hand-finishing are used throughout the process, variations in leather grain, coloration, antiquing, texture, and surface character are expected. No two copies are exactly alike.

COLOUR AND FINISH
Choose Brown, Green, Red, or a Custom base colour in personalization. Gold and secondary accents are chosen at the maker’s discretion.
SCULPTED DEDICATION PLATE — CAD $200
A highly decorated sculpted dedication plate on the front or back interior cover. Include your dedication wording and preferred placement in personalization. Choose a dedication plate OR leather inside covers (doublures); a bookmark can accompany either.
OPTIONAL SCULPTED LEATHER BOOK CASE — CAD $1,000
A sleeve fitted to this book, covered in elaborate sculpted leather. Choose No case or Add book case.
