Each time I tried to photograph the Banshee, the results blurred, distorted, or vanished entirely. As though the bow rejected digital capture—an echo of its origins. The Na’vi call this “tspìvang”—the refusal of the spirit to be imprisoned by light.

What you see is the only image that remained. The rest dissolved like mist.
