Raven Slingshot: Gothic Crow Design - Functional Fantasy Relic

The Wing of Nythra was forged for the Sentinels of the Hollow Sky — scouts who carried messages between the storm towers long before the fall of the Western Watch. Each was bound to a single raven, trained to return only to its master. When the bird died, its likeness was cast into the slingshot’s grip, sealing the bond between the marksman and his fallen companion.

The slingshot’s crescent arms channel tension through engraved runes of direction, while the raven’s wings were shaped to balance weight and aim. Those who wield one are said to inherit Nythra’s focus — the ability to see the path of a moving target before it shifts.

Each piece is forged to order and can be finished in any color or sigil pattern requested by the bearer. Variants exist across archives — black for night patrols, silver for storm couriers, and cobalt blue for the Order of the Hollow Sky.
